Thalon's vision begins to shift away from the ocean into a dark, damp cave. Various insects and rotting corpses are found on the ground. He begins to see a map, highlighting a particular place to the far west of the city of Torq. His vision then returns to the cave, moving frantically as though escaping some monster. As his vision dives into a pit, he sees the palace again.
